Technical Sciences Vocational School was opened to education under the Ministry of National Education in the Academic Year of 1975-1976, and it was aff iliated to Erciyes University in 1981 with the Higher Education Law. The School, which moved to the campus of our university on the Talas road in the Academic Year of 1986-1987, started to provide educational services in its own building built in the campus area in the 1991-1992 Academic Year.

Thanks to being included in the scope of “YÖK-World Bank 2nd Industrial Education Project” in 1991, the majority of the instructors working in the school were sent to education to specialize in the USA and England, and many workshops and laboratories with new technologies were established in our school.

While our school, which is headed by Prof. Dr. Ercan Karaköse, provides education in total of 16 programs, in 2002, some programs got divided from our school and became a new college under the name of İzzet Bayraktar Vocational School of Social Sciences.
